a bit about me:
Hi, I am Nick Grove, Library Director for the Meridian Library District (MLD). I have worked at MLD for over a decade in a number of roles. As the manager of unBound, which is the district’s Business and Technology Library, I was able to take unBound from an idea to opening in 8 months. I was honored to be named to Library Journal's 2016 Movers & Shakers list. At unBound, I worked to create a space where anyone in the community can freely access emerging technology, business working space, and hands-on business or technology assistance. I was promoted to Assistant Director of MLD in February 2022, and was selected by the Board of Trustees to be the Library Director in July 2022.
Starting in 2016, I served 1 year as vice president, 2 years as president, and 2 years as past-president for the Meridian Downtown Business Association; I currently sit on the Meridian Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors. Outside of work I serve on the Meridian Planning and Zoning Commission, and coach youth soccer team. In 2020, I was honored to be recognized as the Meridian Man of the Year by the Meridian Chamber of Commerce.
